Use your voice to inspire and unite people all over the country. You can give hope to survivors of domestic violence nationwide. How? By encouraging your community and fellow choir members to donate old wireless phones, families that are in need will finally have a voice.
Here's how it works. Encourage your choir and your parish to start a program that collects old wireless phones, batteries and accessories from any wireless provider for HopeLine. Then bring all of the items you collect to the live How Sweet the Sound event to drop in the designated bins. The used wireless phones will either be refurbished or recycled. With the proceeds, Verizon Wireless donates wireless phones and airtime to survivors of domestic violence and provides funding and other contributions to non-profit domestic violence shelters and prevention programs across the country.
So we ask you to gather up your old wireless phones, batteries and accessories in support of our HopeLine Program. How Sweet the Sound is not just about celebrating music, it's about celebrating each other. Join the celebration today.
