Get Ready for How Sweet the Sound 2009
The first step to participate is to register your choir.
Once you've registered your choir, you’ll need to submit a video of no longer than three minutes in DVD, Mini DV, VHS format, or upload online.
Four category winners will then be chosen in each of the two designated categories:
- Small/Medium Category: 6 - 35 Performers on stage
- Large Category: 36 - 100 Performers on stage
Note: Number of performers includes band members
These eight choirs will go on to perform in the live regional event. From these eight, two winners, one from each category, will win $10,000 for their choir. One overall winner will win a Verizon Wireless handset and $50 gift card for each choir member and will then perform at the grand finale event where they can win up to $25,000.
Finally, a Verizon Wireless V CAST People’s Choice Award will be given to the choir who really captures the heart of the community. They will win $5,000.
