Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound™ 2010 tour united communities and cities all across America in celebration and song. On September 9, we began the live events, and in every city on the tour, praises rang out and the rejoicing was unrestrained. With co-hosts Donald Lawrence and CeCe Winans, and our resident tour judge Marvin Sapp bringing electrifying excitement to every arena, the elation continued in thirteen other regions where sold out audiences felt the joy and gathered in fellowship.

I’m so excited to be participating in the Finale of How Sweet the Sound!!!!!!! @bestchurchchoir We are gonna make NC proud!
Finally, on November 13, all the regional winning choirs came together in Washington, D.C. for an incredible night of joy and praise with special performances by BeBe and Cece Winans, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond and Karen Clark-Sheard. The weekend of events the choirs experienced included an opportunity to get to know some of our celebrity guests as they shared and worshipped with them.
Congratulations to Voices of Destiny from Los Angeles who took the 2010 How Sweet the Sound title and was awarded over $40,000 in cash and prizes. As the 2010 How Sweet the Sound representatives, they will now have the honor of performing at the Stellar Awards in Nashville, TN, Super Bowl Gospel Celebration and more!
A very special thanks goes out to all of the choirs, choir directors, pastors, fans, supporters, performers, and enthusiasts who made Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound 2010 so sweet and memorable. And 2011 is already promising to be an uplifting celebration for ministries everywhere, so stay connected!
